DATA SUBJECTS’ RIGHTS
Under Articles 15-22 GDPR, the data subject has the right to ask the data controller for access to his/her personal data and to correct or erase it, or to limit or oppose its processing, in addition to the right of data portability.
These requests can be sent by email or by fax or registered post, headed: “Request by Data Subject” specifying in the request the right that the data subject wishes to exercise (erasure, rectification, portability or the right to be forgotten), together with a valid email or certified email address, to which replies should be sent.
The data controller or the person authorised by the data controller will fulfil the request within 30 days from the receipt of the request. If the reply is complex, this period may be extended by a further 30 days, and the data subject will be notified in good time.
